1. Overview
iWidgy is an Android home-screen personalization app that lets you create iOS-inspired widgets, wallpaper setups, notes, reminders, countdowns, weather widgets, music widgets, battery widgets, contact widgets, photo widgets, device info widgets, and shortcut actions.
We designed iWidgy so most personal content stays on your device. WidgetVibes does not create user accounts for iWidgy, does not require your name or email address to use the app, and does not upload your notes, reminders, contact widget selections, photos, music data, or widget designs to WidgetVibes servers.
Some connected features use third-party services, including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, Google Play in-app review and update services, OpenWeather, and WidgetVibes wallpaper delivery. Those services are described below.
2. Information Handled by the App
A. Local App and Widget Preferences
iWidgy saves app settings such as theme choices, language settings, onboarding state, clock format, widget layouts, colors, backgrounds, padding, selected widget styles, selected tap actions, selected apps, and selected URLs on your device so your widgets continue to work and look the way you configured them.
B. Notes, Reminders, Countdowns, and App-Created Calendar Content
If you use notes, reminders, countdowns, or calendar-style widgets inside iWidgy, the app stores the content you enter locally on your device. This can include note titles, note body text, note styles, reminder titles, reminder notes, due dates, times, flags, tags, subtasks, countdown dates, and widget display choices. WidgetVibes does not upload this content to our servers.
C. Contacts for Contact Widgets
If you grant Contacts access and choose a contact widget, iWidgy can read contact names, phone numbers, contact IDs, and contact photo references from your device contacts so the selected contact can appear in a widget. The app stores only the contact details needed for the widget in app-private local storage. Contact data is not uploaded to WidgetVibes, and contact widget data can be removed by deleting the widget or clearing app data.
D. Photos, Images, and Wallpapers You Select
iWidgy can let you pick images from your device for photo widgets, note images, widget backgrounds, and wallpaper customization. Selected images are used locally for the features you choose. If you browse iWidgy wallpaper collections, the app can download wallpaper catalog data and wallpaper image files from WidgetVibes wallpaper delivery, cache them locally, save selected wallpapers to your device, or apply them as your wallpaper when you ask it to.
E. Weather Search, City, and Forecast Data
Weather widgets use OpenWeather. When you search for a city or choose a weather location, the city search term and the selected city's latitude and longitude may be sent to OpenWeather to retrieve current weather, forecast, and air quality data. iWidgy stores the selected weather city and a weather snapshot locally so widgets can display weather information. iWidgy does not request precise device location permission for weather.
F. Music Widget and Audio Visualizer Data
If you enable music-related access, iWidgy can use Android notification access and media sessions to read current media information such as track title, artist, album art, source app, playback state, playback position, and media controls. This is used to show and control music widgets on your device. Optional audio visualizer features may use Android audio levels or frequency data to animate visual effects. iWidgy does not record, save, or upload audio recordings.
G. Device, Battery, Bluetooth, and Screen-Time Data
Battery and device widgets can display local device information such as battery level, charging state, temperature, voltage, storage, RAM, device stats, and network speed. If you enable Nearby Devices or Bluetooth access, iWidgy can read Android-visible battery levels for connected accessories. If you enable Usage Access in Android settings, iWidgy can show screen-time and top-app information. This information is used locally for widgets and is not sent to WidgetVibes.
H. Installed App List and Widget Tap Actions
iWidgy can read the names and package names of launchable apps installed on your device so you can choose apps for shortcut widgets or widget tap actions. These app choices are stored locally and are not sent to WidgetVibes.
I. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Crash Reports
On Android, iWidgy uses Firebase Analytics to understand product usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and stability issues. The app logs limited event names and app-owned identifiers such as screen names, selected widget categories, widget names, design IDs, editor options, setting names, language, widget sizing preference, subscription plan, purchase result, and non-personal failure reasons. iWidgy's telemetry code is designed not to send note text, reminder text, contact details, phone numbers, URLs, weather search text, precise location, photos, music titles, or other user-created content to Firebase Analytics.
Crash reports may include technical data such as stack traces, app version, package name, device model, operating system version, memory or storage state, timestamps, Firebase installation identifiers, Crashlytics installation identifiers, and limited app context such as the last screen or last app-owned event before a crash.
J. Support Emails
If you contact support, your email may include the information you choose to send, such as your device model, Android version, app version, screenshots, issue description, or feature request. This information is sent only when you choose to send the email.
3. Advertising, Analytics, Purchases, and Connected Services
iWidgy uses Firebase Analytics to measure app usage, onboarding progress, settings changes, widget browsing, widget add results, paywall events, purchase results, restore results, screen visits, and screen engagement. This helps us understand which app areas need improvement. We limit custom analytics parameters to app-owned identifiers and enumerated choices, and we do not intentionally send user-created widget content, contact data, photos, precise location, notes, reminder text, music titles, URLs, or weather search text to Firebase Analytics.
iWidgy uses Firebase Crashlytics to record fatal and non-fatal crashes. Crashlytics may receive crash stack traces, device and OS information, app version, package name, timestamps, identifiers such as Firebase installation IDs and Crashlytics installation UUIDs, and limited app context such as app language, subscription plan, last screen, last app-owned event, and non-personal error context.
iWidgy may use Google Mobile Ads to show app open ads, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, or rewarded interstitial ads. Google may collect or receive information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostics, crash or performance data, and approximate location inferred from network information to deliver, measure, and protect ads.
iWidgy uses Google User Messaging Platform where required to request or manage ad consent before ad requests are initialized. If Google says privacy options are required for your region or consent state, the app can show a privacy options entry in Settings.
iWidgy offers optional paid features through Google Play Billing and may use Google Play in-app review and in-app update flows. Payments, refunds, subscription management, purchase confirmation, update delivery, and Play Store review prompts are handled by Google Play. WidgetVibes does not collect or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment method details.
iWidgy uses RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management. RevenueCat may receive app user identifiers, purchase receipts, purchase tokens, product identifiers, offering identifiers, customer information, subscription status, billing issue dates, expiration dates, renewal status, and technical information needed to verify access to paid features. RevenueCat does not process your card details; payment details remain handled by Google Play.
Weather features use OpenWeather. Wallpaper collection features may connect to WidgetVibes wallpaper delivery to load wallpaper lists and image files. These network requests may involve standard technical data such as IP address, request time, device or browser user-agent, and requested file or endpoint.

iWidgy does not request access to precise GPS location, camera, SMS messages, call logs, or health data.
6. How Information Is Used
- To save your widget layouts, styles, backgrounds, notes, reminders, countdowns, and preferences.
- To render and update home-screen widgets on your device.
- To let widgets open the apps, URLs, contacts, or actions you selected.
- To provide weather, wallpaper, music, battery, device info, Bluetooth accessory, and screen-time features when you enable them.
- To schedule local reminders, alarms, notifications, and widget refreshes.
- To measure app usage, screen engagement, onboarding progress, settings usage, widget browsing, and purchase flow outcomes with Firebase Analytics.
- To diagnose crashes, non-fatal errors, and stability issues with Firebase Crashlytics.
- To show optional ads and rewarded ad experiences.
- To collect or manage ad consent where required before requesting ads.
- To process optional purchases, subscriptions, product changes, entitlement checks, purchase restoration, billing management, Play review prompts, and app update flows.
- To respond to support emails that you choose to send.
7. Data Security
- lock Most iWidgy content, including widget settings, notes, reminders, contact widget choices, selected apps, image references, and local preferences, is stored in app-private local storage on your device.

- public Connected services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, ads, consent forms, billing, purchase entitlement checks, Play reviews and updates, weather, and wallpaper downloads use network connections and are governed by their own privacy and security practices.
- encrypted Firebase states that Firebase services encrypt data in transit using HTTPS and that Firebase Crashlytics data is encrypted at rest. Network services generally use HTTPS or other secure transport. However, no app, device, or online service can guarantee absolute security.
- delete You can remove local app data by deleting widgets, clearing iWidgy app storage, or uninstalling the app. Data processed by Firebase, Google, RevenueCat, OpenWeather, or Google Play is handled according to their own policies.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local widget settings, preferences, notes, reminders, countdowns, image references, selected apps, selected contact widget data, and weather snapshots remain on your device until you change them, delete related widgets or content, clear app data, or uninstall iWidgy.
- Wallpaper files may be cached locally for faster loading and may be removed automatically by cache cleanup, by clearing cache or app data, or by uninstalling the app.
- Contact widget selections are intended to be removed when related widgets are deleted. You can also remove them by clearing app data.
- Firebase Analytics event data and Crashlytics crash data are retained according to Google's Firebase and Google Analytics retention practices. Firebase currently states that Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems.
- Support emails remain in our support mailbox as needed to respond to your request and keep a reasonable record of support history.
- Purchase and subscription data handled by Google Play and RevenueCat is retained according to their privacy, security, and retention practices.

9. Your Choices
- You can grant or deny optional permissions such as Contacts, Notifications, Notification Access, Nearby Devices, Bluetooth, Usage Access, and Audio access in Android settings.
- You can edit or delete notes, reminders, countdowns, widgets, app shortcuts, wallpapers, and other local content where those options are available in the app.
- You can clear iWidgy cache or app data, or uninstall the app, to remove local preferences and local content from your device.
- You can use the Google User Messaging Platform privacy options entry in iWidgy Settings where Google requires that option for your consent state or region.
- You can manage ad personalization through your Google and Android advertising settings.
- You can manage subscriptions, purchases, cancellation, restoration, refunds, and billing issues through Google Play and any purchase management links provided by the app or RevenueCat.
- You can contact WidgetVibes Support if you want help with analytics, crash report, purchase, or support-email data requests. Data controlled by Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, or Google Play may require action through those providers' privacy tools or support channels.
10. Children's Privacy
iWidgy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through a support email or another contact method, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as iWidgy changes or as legal and platform requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
