1. Overview
Willy's Widgets is an Android home-screen personalization app that lets you add customizable clock, calendar, and event widgets to your home screen, choose watch face styles, colors, and fonts, and manage widget update behavior.
Willy's Widgets is designed to work locally on your device. WidgetVibes does not create user accounts for Willy's Widgets, does not require your name or email address to use the app, and does not upload your widget designs, settings, or calendar information to WidgetVibes servers. The app does not use analytics SDKs or crash reporting SDKs.
The connected services the app uses are Google Play services for the optional one-time Pro purchase (Google Play Billing), Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) for advertising, Google User Messaging Platform for ad consent where required, and standard Google Play distribution. Those services are described below.
2. Information Handled by the App
A. Local App and Widget Preferences
Willy's Widgets saves your app settings and widget configurations on your device, such as the widget style you picked for each home-screen widget, colors, fonts, sizes, tap actions, the realtime updates toggle, and other display preferences. This information stays in app-private local storage so your widgets continue to look and work the way you configured them. It is not uploaded to WidgetVibes.
B. Calendar Data for Event Widgets
If you choose a calendar or events widget style and grant the Calendar permission, Willy's Widgets reads upcoming events from your device calendar, such as event titles, start and end times, and all-day status, so they can be drawn inside the widget on your home screen. Calendar data is read and rendered entirely on your device. It is not stored outside the widget rendering process, and it is never uploaded to WidgetVibes or any third party. If you do not grant the permission, those widget styles simply show an access prompt instead.
C. Installed App List for Tap Actions
Willy's Widgets can read the names, package names, and icons of launchable apps installed on your device so you can choose which app a widget opens when you tap it. This list is shown and used only on your device, and your chosen tap action is stored locally with the widget's configuration. It is not sent to WidgetVibes.
D. Purchase State for the Pro Unlock
Willy's Widgets offers an optional one-time Pro unlock purchased through Google Play Billing. The app checks with Google Play whether the unlock has been purchased and stores the resulting unlock state locally. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play. WidgetVibes does not receive or store your name, credit card number, billing address, or other payment method details.
E. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
Willy's Widgets may show ads served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads). When ads are requested, Google may collect or receive information such as your IP address, device identifiers, advertising ID, device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics, crash or performance data related to ad delivery, and approximate location inferred from network information. This data is processed by Google to deliver, measure, personalize (where consented), and protect ads, under Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. WidgetVibes does not receive this data. Where required by your region, the app uses Google User Messaging Platform to ask for your ad consent before ads are initialized.
F. Support Emails
If you contact support by email, your message may include the information you choose to send, such as your device model, Android version, app version, screenshots, or an issue description. This information is sent only when you choose to send the email, and it is used only to respond to your request.
G. What the App Does Not Collect
Willy's Widgets does not collect or transmit analytics events, crash reports, precise location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, SMS messages, call logs, health data, browsing history, or any user-generated content. Outside of advertising handled by Google as described above, the app performs no tracking, and there is no WidgetVibes account system.
3. Purchases and Connected Services
Willy's Widgets offers a single optional, one-time (non-consumable) Pro purchase through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment processing, purchase confirmation, purchase history, refunds, and purchase restoration on new devices. When the app checks or restores the purchase, Google Play may process information such as your Google account eligibility, product identifiers, purchase tokens, and purchase status. This processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Willy's Widgets may use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) to show ads such as banner, app open, interstitial, or rewarded formats. Google may collect or receive information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, crash or performance data, and approximate location inferred from network information to deliver, measure, and protect ads. Where required for your region or consent state, Willy's Widgets uses Google User Messaging Platform to request or manage ad consent before ad requests are initialized. If Google indicates privacy options are required, the app can show a privacy options entry so you can change your choices at any time. You can also manage ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings and through your device's Android advertising settings.
The app may also contain links that open outside the app in your browser or another app, such as a video guide on YouTube, the WidgetVibes Instagram page, the app's Google Play Store listing, and a support email link. When you follow such a link, the destination service handles any information under its own privacy policy. Willy's Widgets does not send any of your app data along with these links.
Beyond the above, Willy's Widgets makes no network requests of its own: it has no backend server, no content downloads, and no data synchronization.

These services are involved only when you install or update the app, make or restore the optional Pro purchase, when ads or consent forms are shown, or when you choose to open an external link. Willy's Widgets contains no other third-party SDKs.

Willy's Widgets does not request access to location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, SMS messages, call logs, or health data. Device backup of app data is disabled; widget configurations stay on the device where they were created.

Beyond advertising handled by Google as described above, WidgetVibes does not use your information for analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than those listed, and WidgetVibes does not sell personal information.
7. Data Security

8. Data Retention and Deletion
- Widget configurations and app preferences remain on your device until you change them, delete the related widget, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Deleting a home-screen widget removes its stored configuration.
- Calendar data is not retained by the app; it is read from your device calendar each time a widget refreshes and only for as long as it is being drawn.
- Device backup is disabled for this app, so widget configurations are not copied into Android backups or transferred to new devices.
- Purchase records for the Pro unlock are retained by Google Play according to Google's own retention practices; the app itself keeps only a local unlock flag, which is removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
- Advertising and ad-consent data processed by Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform is retained according to Google's data retention practices. WidgetVibes does not hold this data.
- Support emails remain in our support mailbox as needed to respond to your request and keep a reasonable record of support history. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence at any time.
9. Your Choices
- You can grant or deny the Calendar permission at any time in Android settings; event widget styles simply show an access prompt without it.
- You can turn the realtime updates foreground service on or off in the app's Settings, and manage its notification in Android settings.
- You can delete individual widgets, clear the app's cache or data, or uninstall the app to remove all local content from your device.
- You can manage, restore, or request refunds for the Pro purchase through Google Play.
- You can use the Google User Messaging Platform privacy options entry in the app where Google requires that option for your consent state or region.
- You can manage ad personalization through your Google Ads Settings, your device's Android advertising settings (including resetting or deleting your advertising ID), and Google's My Ad Center.
- You can contact WidgetVibes Support with any question or request about this policy or your data, including deletion of support correspondence. Purchase, advertising, and consent data controlled by Google may require action through Google's own privacy tools or support channels.
10. Children's Privacy
Willy's Widgets is not directed at children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support email or another contact method, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Willy's Widgets changes or as legal and platform requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. If a future version of the app ever adds data collection beyond what is described here, this policy and the app's Google Play Data safety section will be updated before that change ships.
