Privacy Policy for Glassy Icons

Last Updated: May 11, 2026

Developer: WidgetVibes
App Name: Glassy Icons
Package Name: com.glassicons.newapp

1. Overview

Glassy Icons is an Android customization app that lets you create glass-style app shortcut widgets, folder and dock widgets, mini widgets, and icon designs for your home screen.

We designed the app so most information stays on your device. We do not create user accounts, ask for your name, collect your contacts, collect your location, or upload your icon customizations to our own servers.

2. Information Handled by the App

A. Local App Preferences

The app saves your favorites, selected categories, filters, onboarding state, notification choice, display quality settings, toast settings, and icon customization choices on your device.

B. Widget and Icon Settings

When you create or save widgets, the app stores the selected icon design, folder entries, mini-widget style, colors, gradients, padding, shadows, borders, and background choices locally so your widgets can continue to appear on your home screen.

C. Installed App List for Widget Selection

The app can read the names and package names of launchable apps installed on your device. This is used only to help you choose which app a custom shortcut or folder widget should open. This list is not sent to WidgetVibes.

D. Custom Images You Select

If you choose a PNG or SVG image for a custom icon, the app copies that file into the app's private storage on your device. The image is used only for your local icon/widget design and is not uploaded by WidgetVibes.

E. Notifications and App Engagement

If you enable notifications, the app stores basic local timing values such as first open, last open, open count, and notification preference so it can show customization reminders and update alerts. These reminders are generated by the app on your device.

F. Support Emails

If you choose to contact support, your email app may include details you type into the message, such as device model, Android version, launcher name, issue description, or icon ideas. This information is sent only when you choose to send the email.

3. Advertising, Purchases, and Google Play Services

Glassy Icons may use Google Mobile Ads to show interstitial or rewarded ads. Google may collect or receive data such as device identifiers, approximate location inferred by network information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other information needed to deliver and measure ads.

The app may offer optional paid features through Google Play Billing. Payments are processed by Google Play. WidgetVibes does not collect or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details.

If RevenueCat is enabled for purchase and entitlement management, RevenueCat may receive purchase status, app user identifiers, receipts, or Google purchase tokens needed to verify access to paid features. RevenueCat does not process your card details; payment details remain handled by Google Play.

Glassy Icons may also use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, and improve stability. Firebase may collect app interaction events, device and app information, crash logs, diagnostic data, and installation identifiers. We use this information to improve the app and do not use it to personally identify you.
