1. Information We Collect

A. Contact Data (User-Initiated Only)

  • What: Contact names, phone numbers, and photo URIs from your device contacts.
  • When: Only when you configure a Contact Widget and explicitly grant the READ_CONTACTS permission.
  • Storage: All contact data is stored locally on your device only, encrypted with AES-256-GCM via Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences. It is never transmitted to any server.

B. Device & Sensor Data

  • Compass Widget: Accesses device orientation sensors via a foreground service to display compass direction. No data is logged or transmitted.
  • Device Info Widget: Displays on-device stats (RAM, temperature, network type). All data stays local.
  • Music Widget: Uses Android's Notification Listener service to read playback metadata (song title, artist, album art) from your active music app. This data is displayed on the widget only and never stored or transmitted.

C. User Preferences (Local Only)

The app stores your settings locally via SharedPreferences:

  • Theme mode (dark/light/system)
  • Temperature unit preference
  • Selected timezone list
  • Widget color palette and design selections
  • Selected clock/calendar launch apps
  • Blur, transparency, and padding preferences
  • Language/locale preference

None of this data is transmitted off-device.

D. Wallpaper Data (Network)

  • The app fetches wallpaper catalogs from our Cloudflare-configured secure server via HTTPS.
  • No personal data is sent in these requests.
  • Downloaded wallpapers are saved to Pictures/Glassy Widgets/ on your device.

E. Google Fonts

The app uses google_fonts to download typefaces from Google's servers. Google may collect standard request metadata (IP address, device type). See Google Fonts Privacy.

F. Analytics Data

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data to help us understand how users interact with the app and improve the experience. This may include:

  • Screen views and navigation patterns
  • Feature usage (e.g., widget additions, color and size customizations, wallpaper actions)
  • App settings preferences (e.g., language, theme)
  • Subscription status (pro or free)
  • Device and platform information (e.g., OS version, device model)

Firebase Analytics may use device identifiers and cookies to collect this data. No personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or phone number) is collected through analytics. All data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of analytics data collection by disabling usage and diagnostics sharing in your device settings.

  • info Google AdMob is included in the app but is not actively serving ads at this time. When enabled, AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers and usage data per Google's privacy policy.

  • info RevenueCat manages pro/free entitlement checking. It receives anonymous purchase data from Google Play — no personal information (name, email) is shared by the app.

4. In-App Purchases

  • Model: Freemium — the app offers both Free and Pro widget designs.
  • Payment: All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing via RevenueCat. The app does not directly collect or store any payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.).
  • Refund Policy: All purchases are non-refundable once completed. Since digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are not provided. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to purchased content, please contact us for support. For billing disputes, you may also request a refund through Google Play's refund process.

5. Data Security

  • public All network communication is enforced over HTTPS with domain validation to our secure delivery network.

6. GDPR & EU Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, additional rights and protections apply to your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Legal Basis for Processing: We process anonymized analytics data based on our legitimate interest in improving app functionality and user experience. For any processing that requires consent (such as advertising identifiers when AdMob is enabled), we will obtain your explicit consent before collecting such data.
  • Your Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your data. Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, you maintain full control at all times. Uninstalling the app erases all locally stored data.
  • Data Transfers: Anonymized analytics data processed by Firebase Analytics may be transferred to Google servers located outside the EEA. These transfers are governed by Google's standard contractual clauses and data processing terms.
  • Opt-Out: You can disable analytics data collection at any time by adjusting usage and diagnostics sharing in your Android device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through this app, please contact us to have it removed.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

  • All user data (settings, contact selections, downloaded wallpapers) is stored exclusively on your device.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
  • No server-side user accounts or databases exist — there is nothing to delete remotely.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
